Jewelry Services, Repairs, and Appraisals

At Jessop's, jewelry repairs are done mostly on premises, at our Downtown San Diego jewelry store by expert staff craftspeople. Please don't think a job might be too small for us. Our services include the highest quality San Diego jewelry repairs - everything from ring sizing to prong retipping to elaborate restorations in platinum or gold. Our laser welder brings the latest in jewelry technology to our skillful repair work.

• Appraisals - either for insurance needs or estate evaluation. All appraisals are done on our premises by our American Gem Society-certified staff gemologist appraisers in our American Gem Society-accredited gem lab

Jewelry-Buying Services

Jessop's buys entire estates, as well as individual pieces. We are interested in jewelry from all periods - antique to modern. Sometimes we offer consignment for unique and rare items. More often, we'll offer outright purchase.

Call (619) 234-4137, for a private appointment with Jim Jessop to discuss liquidating unused jewelry. Jim will review your jewelry, discuss the values with you and once everything has been finalized, he will pay you immediately. Generally, Jim will offer outright purchase for jewelry, although consignment may be an option.
