Jessop Jeweler makes every attempt to ensure that our online catalog is as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs.

Jessop Jeweler hopes to provide you as much information and detail about your prospective purchase as possible. Jewelry information is provided by our Certified Gemologist Appraisers of the American Gem Society and our insurance appraisal will accompany each purchase. Complete accuracy is always our objective. If gemstone weights are estimated, they have been calculated by a formula, so some variation may occur from actual weight.

In no event will George Carter Jessop, Inc, a California Corporation (Jessop Jeweler), its stock holders, directors, employees or agents be liable for any direct or indirect damage or damages of any kind, including but not limited to negligence arising out of or connected with our site, services or products, including without limitation any damages caused by or resulting from reliance by the user on any information from Jessop Jeweler resulting from mistakes, omissions, errors, or deletion of files whether or not caused by acts of God, communications error, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to Jessop Jeweler records.

All attempts have been made to accurately depict the colors of the products offered on this site. Yet, due to the computer monitor that you are using, we cannot guarantee that the color you see will be exactly the same as on the product. The products may also appear larger or smaller than the actual size. Some photographs have been enlarged to show detail.

ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased.

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.


Return Policy

Two Week Money Back Guarantee

To ensure your recipient will love your gifts, Jessop Jeweler offers a two week return policy.

**Items must be in original condition and unworn; items special ordered, engraved, or otherwise personalized cannot be returned.

**If a package or item is delivered to you with any portion damaged, call Jessop Jeweler immediately at 619-234-4137. Items to be returned as damaged not reported to Jessop Jeweler within 24 hours of receipt will not be accepted for return as damaged.

Customer must call 619-234-4137 for return authorization – A return shipping label, return authorization number, and detailed packaging and shipping instructions will be emailed to you.

  • $40.00 will be deducted from your purchase credit to cover the return shipping, handling, and insurance costs and is not refundable.

  • Jessop Jeweler does not accept C.O.D. returns.

  • For rings that have been sized, an additional $45 will be deducted from your return credit to help cover sizing costs.

  • Jessop Jeweler will inspect the returned item, identify the credit available and contact you via email or telephone with 24 hours of our receipt of the item. Please allow approximately 3 to 5 working days for the credit to be processed.

  • Credits are issued only to the original purchasing credit card.

Return Packaging & Shipping Instructions

Customer must call 619-234-4137 for return authorization – A return shipping label, return authorization number, and detailed packaging and shipping instructions will be emailed to you.

**If a package or item is delivered to you with any portion damaged, call Jessop Jeweler immediately at 619-234-4137. Items to be returned as damaged not reported to jessop Jeweler within 24 hours of receipt will not be accepted for return as damaged.

**Customer is responsible for the safe return of items and adherence to our jewelry insurance requirements by exactly following the instructions below. This will ensure the best possible prevention of loss or damage.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY

1) Item is required to be DOUBLE-BOXED. When your item is received, save the inner box and packing material for possible return shipment.

2) The packaging goal of a return shipment is to secure the item being returned so it doesn’t move during the shipping process. To accomplish this:

  • Securely wrap and protect the item in the manner it came.
  • Place the item in a box that will fit inside a FedEx Large box. Add packing material so the item does not move around inside. Tape shut and adhere the enclosed address label on the outside of this inner box that reads:

  • Enclose this box in a FEDEX LARGE box, taping it down with packing tape so this inner box does not move during shipping.

3) PRINT OUT JESSOP’S FEDEX SHIPPING LABEL EMAILED TO YOU. Use clear packing tape to attach the label to the outside of the outer FEDEX LARGE box where indicated.

4) MUST be shipped MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY ONLY, and never the day before a holiday; shipping is “Standard Overnight” which means it is only for next business day afternoon delivery.

5) DO NOT PLACE IN A FEDEX DROP BOX.
Deliver the package directly to a FedEx agent:

  • A FedEx agent may claim the package while making other deliveries to you premise.
  • A FedEx agent may be called to your premise for the pick-up of the package.
  • The package may be delivered directly to an agent at a FedEx station or FedEx authorized ship center such as Postal Annex, Mail Express, OfficeMax, etc.

Jessop Jeweler is not responsible for lost items or stolen articles after package is originally delivered by carrier or before delivered to carrier for authorized return.
